Rae & Erik

In March 2020, when the pandemic spread through the world, Alexandra & Erik met via Hinge. Little did they know, their lives would change forever — defining and exemplifying what “modern love” looks like in this day and age. With Alexandra being in agriculture and Erik being a wild firefighter, Erik later proposed to her in a wild apple orchard near his fire station. On the day of their ceremony, they eloped with a view of the Pacific Ocean and their closest family members. Drawn to timeless notes, they went with soft colors to reflect the scenery: dusty blue and ivory. As a nod to their apple orchard engagement, they hiked out to the apple trees where they got engaged and incorporated branches into their floral arrangements. Alexandra also included her favorite fruits into her smaller details, including strawberry vines in her bouquet and fruits & vegetable illustrated stamps on their invitations.

Kind Words

"These are the absolute dreamiest photos I've ever seen... I haven't comprehended that that is actually us but at the same time, I look at them and see the most accurate, real representation of us. My heart is in my stomach. They are beautiful."
