Images are one of the few tangible investments you will take away from your wedding and that will last a lifetime. You deserve to have the most exceptional photography illustrating your exceptional day. Images that are completely honest, romantic, and intentional. Through a blend of special technique (photographing in medium format film and digital), artistry (so that you receive a medley of beautiful memories), and an elevated photography experience tailored to you from start to finish, you will be able to share and relive your beautiful day for generations to come.
I shoot hybrid, which means I use a combination of medium format film and digital to capture your portraits. I love using both mediums because they offer a variety of strengths in creating beautiful imagery throughout your day. For the majority of the day, I shoot primarily film. It captures light so artfully. Once more low-lit situations occur, such as during your reception or if you have a ceremony in a low-lit venue, I will switch to shooting primarily digital. All of your digital images will be edited to emulate the film images so that you have one beautiful, cohesive gallery.
Film? Digital? Hybrid?
Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to receive incredible images during this sweet season of life, as well as have a practice shoot with me. They’re so much fun. Typically, engagement sessions need to be booked two months in advance. Sessions typically range from 60-120 minutes. In regards to a location, I have a medley of special locations I adore, and I suggest thinking of a place that reflects you as a couple. Is it in an open field, or perhaps a sun-drenched beach? Is it a refined garden? Once I get an idea for the style you're hoping to incorporate, I will suggest a variety of amazing, one-of-a-kind locations for you to choose from. We'll plan to start shooting about 2-3 hours before sunset and you will receive your engagement session images 3-4 weeks after.

My Shooting Style
Every couple is unique, and my shooting style often reflects that. Each part of your day will require a different style of direction. For your family portraits, I’ll make sure to have a family formals checklist filled out by the both of you so that I can ensure each loved one is captured during that time. For your ceremony and reception, I tend to photograph a little more discreetly. And for your beautiful couples portraits, I’ll start with some more natural posing, and then fine tune any details as needed. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and authentic, so that your beautiful images feel like you.
